Smarties Candy

About Smarties Candy

Smarties Candy was founded in 1949 by Edward Dee, an English immigrant who arrived in New Jersey with two candy-making machines and established Ce De Candy, Inc. Smarties were first produced in Bloomfield, New Jersey, as small pressed candy tablets packaged together in rolls. Company operations later moved to Union, New Jersey, while a Canadian factory opened in Toronto in 1963 and eventually relocated to Newmarket, Ontario. Ce De Candy officially changed its name to Smarties Candy Company in 2011, and the family-owned business is now led by third-generation co-presidents Sarah Dee, Jessica Dee Sawyer, and Liz Dee. Smarties are still produced around the clock at factories in New Jersey and Ontario, where the candy is sold as Rockets in Canada.

Smarties Candy Rolls, Lollies & Flavors

We carry Original Smarties Rolls, Giant and Mega Rolls, X-Treme Sour Smarties, Double Lollies, Candy Necklaces, Love Hearts, Squashies, Squeeze Candy, Smart Mix rolls, and other Smarties products as they become available. Classic Smarties rolls contain six familiar colors and flavors: Orange Cream, Pineapple, Cherry, Strawberry, Grape, and Orange. Giant and Mega Smarties provide larger versions of the pressed candy tablets, while X-Treme Sour adds a sharper sour taste. Double Lollies turn the familiar pressed-candy texture into a lollipop, Candy Necklaces provide a wearable candy option, and Love Hearts combine larger candy pieces with printed messages. Smarties Squashies add a softer, chewy texture to the broader collection. Products shown are what is available now, but that could always change, and likely will as additional Smarties candy types, flavors, and seasonal products become available.

Buy Smarties Candy Online

Smarties Candy is widely sold in grocery stores, dollar stores, convenience stores, pharmacies, specialty candy shops, and other retailers, but larger boxes, bulk bags, novelty products, and seasonal releases can be harder to find locally. Here at Candy Retailer, we offer a straightforward way to buy Smarties Candy online for birthday parties, schools, offices, concession stands, candy bowls, gift bags, classroom rewards, holiday celebrations, weddings, and regular candy orders. Since our selection changes throughout the year, this category can continue to grow as additional Smarties products and package sizes become available.
