About Pearson’s Candy

Pearson’s Candy Company began in Minneapolis in 1909 when P. Edward Pearson formed a confectionery distribution business with help from his four brothers. Candy manufacturing followed with the introduction of Nut Goodie in 1912 and Salted Nut Roll in 1933. Operations moved from Minneapolis to St. Paul in 1950, followed by a move to the company’s current West 7th Street facility in 1959. Pearson’s expanded its candy selection again in 1998 by adding the Bun cluster bar.
