Candy Retailer was founded by the Klee family in 1999 in Newport, Kentucky, just south of the Ohio River and five minutes from Downtown Cincinnati. What began as a small local business has grown into an online candy and snack store serving customers throughout the United States.
Our Story Started With Cincinnati Favorites
Candy Retailer began by selling brands and products from Cincinnati and the surrounding region. Those local roots remain an important part of who we are, which is why customers can still shop our Cincinnati Favorites collection today.
That collection celebrates the candy, snacks, sauces, and hometown products that generations of families across Greater Cincinnati know and love. Supporting local brands helped build our business, and those products continue to hold a permanent place in our store.

As Candy Retailer’s presence grew, so did our inventory, customer base, and staff. Today, we carry more than 10,000 candy and snack products from established brands, independent companies, and manufacturers across the United States and around the world.
