View full detailsWhatchamacallit Candy Bars were introduced by The Hershey Company in 1978 with a peanut butter crisp center covered in a thin layer of chocolate. Hershey changed the recipe in 1987 by adding caramel and developing the combination of chewy caramel, peanut-flavored crunch, and chocolate candy found in Whatchamacallit bars today. Its unusual name was chosen from nearly 100 possibilities created by Hershey and its advertising agencies. Hershey still makes Whatchamacallit Candy Bars, with current company information showing production at its Stuarts Draft, Virginia, manufacturing plant.
Whatchamacallit is built around one signature candy bar rather than a large collection of different flavors. Each bar combines chewy caramel, crispy peanut-flavored crunch, and a chocolate coating for a mix of chewy and crunchy textures in every bite. Hershey currently offers the original 1.6oz bar, a 2.6oz king-size bar, and a 9.9oz six-pack, while full display boxes and other package sizes are also sold through candy retailers and wholesalers. Products shown are what is available now, but that could always change, and likely will as different Whatchamacallit package sizes become available.
Whatchamacallit bars can be found at candy stores, convenience stores, grocery stores, and other retailers, but full boxes can be harder to find locally than individual bars. Here at Candy Retailer, we offer Whatchamacallit Candy Bars online for homes, offices, concession stands, vending machines, parties, movie nights, road trips, candy bowls, and regular candy bar orders. Our selection can include full 36ct boxes and other package sizes depending on availability, with additional Whatchamacallit products added as our inventory changes.
