Shipping Information

Candy Retailer ships candy and snacks to addresses within the United States. This page explains order processing, shipping rates, estimated transit times, tracking, address requirements, and warm-weather precautions. Seasonal weather events, carrier interruptions, and other disruptions may cause delays for incoming and outgoing shipments.

Order Processing Times

Orders received by 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time enter processing that business day. Orders received after 1:00 p.m. begin processing the following business day. Orders placed after 1:00 p.m. on Friday begin processing the following Monday. Weekends and holidays aren't considered business days.

We strive to ship orders within 24 hours of processing, and most ship within 48 business hours. Some orders may take longer when products are still being delivered to our warehouse, inventory changes unexpectedly, or additional order verification is required.

Estimated Shipping Times

Shipping time begins after your order leaves our warehouse. Processing time and carrier transit time are separate.

Expedited shipping generally takes 1 to 5 business days. Orders shipped to Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and nearby areas may arrive within 1 business day. Much of the Midwest and eastern United States generally takes two to three business days. Western states, remote areas, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico may take 4 to 5 business days.

Economy shipping generally takes four to 6 business days. Much of the Midwest, South, and eastern United States generally takes 4 business days. Texas generally takes 5 business days. Western states, the Great Plains, parts of the Upper Midwest, and portions of the Northeast generally take 6 business days.

These estimates don’t include order processing time. Weather, holidays, carrier interruptions, incorrect addresses, and other circumstances outside our control may cause delays. Delivery dates aren’t guaranteed.

Shipping Rates

Shipping charges aren't calculated per item. Rates are based on:

  • Package weight

  • Delivery destination and ZIP code

  • Selected shipping service

Available shipping services and the estimated cost for each option appear during checkout. Use the shipping calculator in your shopping cart to estimate shipping before completing your order. Shipping several products together may reduce the per-item shipping cost compared with placing multiple smaller orders.

Shipping Carriers

Candy Retailer ships orders through USPS and FedEx. The available carrier and service options will appear during checkout based on your order and destination. Carrier delivery schedules don't include weekends or federal holidays as standard business days.

Order Confirmation and Tracking

You’ll receive an email confirmation after your order has been submitted successfully. Once your order ships, available tracking information will be sent to the email address provided during checkout. Registered customers can also sign in to their Candy Retailer account and visit View My Orders to check available order and shipment details. Check your spam or junk folder if an order or tracking email doesn't appear in your inbox.

Shipping and Billing Addresses

Enter a complete and accurate shipping address before submitting your order. Missing apartment numbers, incorrect ZIP codes, misspelled street names, and other address errors can delay or prevent delivery.

Your billing address should match the address your payment provider has on file. Candy Retailer may verify billing information before approving and shipping an order. Contact customer service immediately when an address needs to be corrected. We process orders quickly, so we can't guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or shipped.

Warm-Weather Shipping Policy

Chocolate and other heat-sensitive candy may melt, soften, or become sticky during warm weather. Our warm-weather shipping precautions generally apply from April through October, but unusually warm temperatures can affect shipments at other times.

Customers ordering heat-sensitive products should select USPS Priority Mail, FedEx 2Day, or another faster service when available. Ice packs are available for purchase and may help protect meltable products during transit. Ice packs don't guarantee that products will remain cold or prevent all heat-related damage.

Orders containing heat-sensitive products may be held until the following Monday when shipping later in the week could leave the package inside a carrier facility or vehicle over the weekend. Consider shipping meltable candy to an attended home or business address where the package can be brought inside shortly after delivery.

Candy Retailer can't guarantee the condition of heat-sensitive products after they leave our warehouse and isn't responsible for melting or other temperature-related damage during transit.

Delivery Delays and Event Deadlines

Order early when candy is needed for a wedding, party, holiday, corporate event, or another specific date. Selecting faster shipping reduces transit time but doesn't eliminate processing time or guarantee delivery on an exact date.

Candy Retailer isn't responsible for carrier delays caused by severe weather, natural disasters, transportation interruptions, holidays, accidents, or other circumstances outside our control. When we can't ship an order within the stated timeframe, we'll contact the customer about the delay and available options, including canceling the unshipped order for a refund.

Damaged, Missing, or Incorrect Orders

Requirements for reporting damaged products, shortages, missing merchandise, or incorrect items are explained in our Return Policy. Keep the original products, shipping carton, labels, and packing materials when reporting a problem. Include your order number when contacting customer service.
