About Rito Candy

Rito Mints began in Trois-Rivières, Quebec, in 1957 and has spent more than six decades producing mint candy and seasonal confections. Rito describes itself as the largest manufacturer of mint candies and Conversation Hearts in the Americas. A major fire destroyed its factory in 2018, requiring the company to rebuild its production facility in Trois-Rivières. Operations resumed from the new factory, and Rito received the 2019 Export Leader award from Carrefour Québec International following its return to production.
