Bit-O-Honey later became widely recognized for its individually wrapped bite-size pieces, yellow packaging, and bee mascot. After changing ownership several times, Nestlé acquired the brand in 1984, Pearson’s Candy Company purchased it in 2013, and Spangler Candy Company acquired Bit-O-Honey in 2020. Today, the candy is made by Spangler in Bryan, Ohio, alongside other classic American candy brands.
