About Mounds Candy Bars
Mounds Candy was created in 1920 by Peter Halajian and became the first candy bar produced by the Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing Company. Sweetened coconut covered in dark chocolate established the combination still associated with Mounds today. Almond Joy followed in 1946 with milk chocolate and almonds, giving Peter Paul two related coconut candy bars. A famous 1970 advertising jingle compared the two with the line, “Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don’t.” Mounds represented the nut-free choice in the campaign, while Almond Joy included almonds. Today, Mounds remains part of the Hershey candy portfolio.
Mounds Dark Chocolate and Coconut Candy Bars
We carry Mounds Dark Chocolate Candy Bars in standard boxes, king-size boxes, full cases, and other package sizes as they become available. Each bar combines a soft, sweetened coconut center with a rich dark chocolate coating. Standard boxes provide individually wrapped bars for candy displays and regular orders, while king-size bars offer larger portions with multiple pieces in each package. Our broader collection can also include snack-size bars, bags, seasonal candy, variety packs containing Mounds, and additional Hershey products. Products shown are what is available now, but that could always change, and likely will.
Buy Mounds Candy Online
You can usually find Mounds Candy in grocery stores, pharmacies, convenience stores, gas stations, movie theaters, and candy aisles, but not every retailer carries standard bars, king-size candy, full boxes, snack-size bags, seasonal packages, and larger candy orders. Here at Candy Retailer, we offer a straightforward way to buy Mounds Candy online for homes, businesses, offices, schools, parties, concession stands, movie nights, road trips, candy bowls, gift baskets, holiday celebrations, and regular orders of dark chocolate coconut candy. Since we add new brands, products, and package sizes daily, this category can continue to expand as additional Mounds products and packaging options become available.
