About Sixlets Candy

Sixlets Candy was introduced in 1960 by Leaf Brands and became known for small, round pieces with colorful candy shells surrounding a chocolate-flavored center. Sixlets originally came in packages containing six pieces, which inspired the brand name. Hershey acquired Sixlets along with other Leaf candy brands in 1996, and SweetWorks later produced the candy under license. After Sixlets disappeared from the market for approximately two years, Canadian confectioner Ganong acquired the Sixlets license in 2024 and brought the nostalgic candy back to stores. Ganong, founded in 1873, now produces Sixlets at its facility in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
