As for history, the Almond Joy candy bar has been pleasing candy lovers since 1948. Like its sister bar Mounds, these candy bars also consist of milk chocolate and sweet shredded coconut shavings; however, Almond Joy comes with a chocolate-covered almond just for those who love the trio; chocolate, almonds, and coconut!
