About Dubble Bubble Bubble Gum
First launched in 1928 by Walter Diemer, an accountant for the Fleer Chewing Gum Company in Philadelphia, Dubble Bubble became the first commercially successful bubble gum. Fleer founder Frank H. Fleer had developed an earlier bubble gum called Blibber-Blubber in 1906, but it was too sticky and brittle to sell. Diemer later created a softer, more elastic recipe that could produce large bubbles without sticking as easily. The original gum became pink because that was the only food coloring available at the factory, helping establish pink as the color most commonly associated with traditional bubble gum. Fleer introduced illustrated gum comics in 1930, and the brand later expanded beyond its original twist-wrapped pieces into gumballs and numerous novelty products. Concord Confections acquired Dubble Bubble in 1998, and Tootsie Roll Industries acquired Concord and its candy brands in 2004.

Buy Dubble Bubble Online
You can usually find Dubble Bubble in grocery stores, convenience stores, vending machines, party stores, concession stands, and candy aisles, but not every retailer carries every flavor, gumball size, twist-wrapped variety, novelty dispenser, seasonal product, sugar-free option, sour gum, or larger order. Here at Candy Retailer, we offer a straightforward way to buy Dubble Bubble online for birthday parties, school events, sporting events, fundraisers, parades, office candy bowls, vending machines, Halloween giveaways, Easter baskets, gift bags, retail displays, and regular bubble gum orders. Since we add new brands, products, and flavors daily, this category can continue to expand as additional Dubble Bubble products and packaging options become available.
