About Albert’s Candy

Founded in 1916 by Robert Lawrence Albert in Manhattan, New York, Alberts Candy started as a gourmet food and European specialty product importer before becoming a familiar name in American candy. Over time, R.L. Albert & Son expanded into novelty candy, seasonal candy, penny candy favorites, fruit chews, lollipops, gumballs, and other everyday sweets. Today, Albert’s Candy is still known for fun, colorful candy products that are popular with candy stores, party bags, parades, offices, school events, retail shelves, and regular candy orders.
