Founded in 1978, the Foreign Candy Company is the producer of popular ribbon candy Rip Rolls. Other popular candies from the company include Black Forest Gummy Bears and sour hard candy Warheads. Rips fruity licorice candy was introduced in 2003. The candies were developed in Europe and Asia; however, they are widely enjoyed in the U.S. The company's products are developed by the fictitious cartoon scientist Ripply.

Rips fruit-flavored licorice candies differ from other licorice in many ways. Children and adults love the sweet, tangy, fruity flavor. Each product is finished with a sanded coat of sugar. Each roll is 40 inches of fruity licorice. We have Rip Rolls in Strawberry, Mango Chili, Green Apple, Watermelon, Grape, Cherry, and Blue Raspberry.

In addition to Rip Rolls, Rip's licorice is available in Bite-Size pieces, Sour Pencils, Belts, Giant Belts, and Stix. Sour Pencils have a hollow pencil shape and a sour cream filling. The Giant Belt is currently only available in Strawberry. It is an extra-long belt of delicious strawberry licorice. Sticks are shorter sticks of Rip's licorice. They are available in Strawberry, Watermelon, Blue Raspberry, and Mango.
