If you’ve ever read any of my content before, then chances are, you know I have a sweet lovejones for salt water taffy! I tried over 100 flavors from every brand, including Taffy Town, Sweets, and Buc-ee’s; however, Taffy Delight is my favorite of them all. It’s soft, whipped, and chewy! Not to mention, it just tastes better than anything else I’ve ever tried, aside from Taffy Town, which is right up there with Taffy Delight; both are the best in my opinion!
Also, no other taffy brands produce as many flavors as these brands, so it was super easy for me to pick my top ten taffy flavors for this list. However, I must add, not all flavors are created equally! In terms of quality, yes, but regarding flavor, they’re all different, and the only way to find the best ones is to try them all. Unfortunately, I’m not able to tell you which ones are the best flavors for you, but I can share my experience, and maybe that’ll help narrow it down!
At the end of the day, it’s all about creating new experiences and trying new things! So, if you’re not feeling my top taffy picks, no worries, there are over 90 more to choose from, giving you plenty of new opportunities to try the best taffy flavors ever made! As for myself, I personally don’t like all flavors, maybe 60 out of 100 aren’t for me, so that might be the case for you, too, or something near that. Nevertheless, I think my list of top picks is the best, so you can’t go wrong!
1. Peanut Butter Flavored Salt Water Taffy
I don’t know about you guys, but I absolutely have a crush on Taffy Delight’s Peanut Butter Salt Water Taffy! The only problem with it is that it tastes so good, it’s addicting! One piece is never enough, which can get out of control if not checked. I mean that in a playful way, but serious at the same time! So, if you have kids, you might want to keep an eye on the stash because these will disappear fast, especially if you or anyone you know loves peanut butter!
2. Caramel Swirls Salt Water Taffy
Next up, I’m going with Caramel Swirls Salt Water Taffy! This is a strange one for me because I’m not a huge fan of caramel candy! I like the flavor, I just have another that I like more. However, that’s not the case with this particular taffy flavor, as I could eat this good stuff every day, if not checked and balanced. It’s soft, rich, buttery, and has an authentic caramel taste that’s warm and inviting! If you’ve never had this flavor and love caramel candy, this is the one to try!
3. Banana Salt Water Taffy
It’s time to switch it up to something fruity, but not for long! However, as for my third favorite flavor, I’m sticking to guns and going with Taffy Delight’s Banana Salt Water Taffy! Now, I don’t know about anyone else, but I love bananas, although I’m not a fan of banana-flavored anything, so this one really surprised me! It tastes like the real fruit, yet it’s soft, creamy, and, of course, chewy! I like it a lot, and if you like bananas, I think you will, too!
4. Chocolate Salt Water Taffy
It was a tough call between banana and chocolate salt water taffy! I love them both almost equally, but when it was time to choose, I made it official and selected chocolate as my fourth favorite taffy flavor, and I have no regrets! Not to mention, but Taffy Delight holds the crown with its chocolate taffy! It’s soft, slightly chewy, and features a whipped, creamy element that’s highly addicting, especially for chocolate lovers! So, if that’s you, pick up a jar today and enjoy!
5. Blueberry Salt Water Taffy
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved blueberry candy! Off the top of my head, I can’t think of one blueberry-flavored candy that I didn’t like, which also applies to Taffy Delight’s Blueberry Salt Water Taffy; it’s the bomb! It’s soft, creamy, sweet, fruity, and tastes authentic! Also, keep in mind, eating one and being done isn’t possible; this stuff is addicting! 6. German Chocolate Cake Salt Water Taffy
I’ve loved German Chocolate Cake pretty much all my life! My grandpa, who passed in ‘99, made it better than anyone; it was his specialty, something you can’t forget to mention when remembering old-man Bob Beadle! That said, I always wonder what his thoughts would be on Taffy Delight’s take on German Chocolate Cake! I love it, it reminds me of him, although it’s not the same; nonetheless, it never fails to deliver a smile! So, this one’s for you, Grandpa!
7. Raspberry Lemonade Salt Water Taffy
I’ve had countless raspberry lemonade-flavored candies in my life, but I’ve never had anything quite like Taffy Delight Salt Water Taffy! Not only is it sweet and fruity, but it’s also refreshing and very addicting! In my opinion, it’s the perfect summertime candy! Taffy Delight also has a Lemonade Stand Mix that features this flavor, as well as cherry limeade, peach, and strawberry, all of which I like, but raspberry lemonade is the best. Try some today!
8. Chocolate Caramel Mocha Salt Water Taffy
Once again, chocolate made its way onto my list of the best taffy flavors! This time, Taffy Delight really hit it home with this trio of flavors! Chocolate Caramel Mocha Salt Water Taffy; how could you possibly go wrong! It’s soft, sweet, creamy, and tastes exactly as the name suggests! As expected, it’s the perfect candy flavor on a cold, wintery night. To be clear, it won’t warm you up literally, but it’ll give you that warm, fuzzy feeling in your tummy, though! Priceless.
9. Strawberry Cheesecake Salt Water Taffy
I’m a huge fan of authentic strawberry cheesecake, especially from the Cheesecake Factory! However, I have to admit, I’ve never had it as a candy flavor until I tried Taffy Delight’s Strawberry Cheesecake Salt Water Taffy! I didn’t think I was going to like it and passed on it many times, but I finally tried it a few months back, and I had like 10 pieces, then my tooth started to hurt, alerting me that I hadn’t checked myself, allowing me to get out of control. Yep, it’s that good.
10. Blueberry Muffin Salt Water Taffy
Last, but not least, I’d like to introduce you to Blueberry Muffin Salt Water Taffy! If you’ve never tried it before, which you probably haven’t, I totally recommend it. I’m not sure how the makers pulled this one off, but like German Chocolate Cake and Strawberry Cheesecake, they somehow managed to make this one taste exactly like blueberry muffins! Like all taffy flavors on my list, this one is also very addicting! If not checked, I can eat them until my teeth check me!
What Is Your Favorite Salt Water Taffy Flavor?
With so many taffy flavors available by Taffy Delight, it was a little tough to narrow it down to my top ten favorite flavors, and that’s because I love about 40 of them, but I pulled it off. However, I left out many flavors that I would totally recommend, but then again, I think that might take away the fun part of discovery and limit your experience! Instead, I decided to share my top 10 favorites only and leave the door open for you to choose the ones that inspire you!
As previously stated, we all have different opinions, so if you’re a huge fan of premium salt water taffy like me, then chances are, you have your favorites; but have you tried them all?
