When you think of pickled foods, you probably think of pickled eggs, asparagus, peppers, and cucumbers. Although these are undoubtedly great snacks, there isn’t anything quite like Hanna’s Pickled Pigs Feet.
For the longest time, I was dubious about trying pig’s feet. Each time I’d come close, I’d ultimately pass, turned off by the stigma that’s frequently attached to them. It wasn’t until I came across Hannah’s that I felt compelled to try them. Suffice to say, I’m glad that I did.
Hannah’s Pig’s Feet are marinated in a red, glowing vinegar pickle juice, making them highly enticing before you can even open the jar! In fact, much of the flavor comes from the vinegar pickle juice. Nonetheless, the authentic pork flavor really puts these over the top!
Initially, I was confused about how to eat these, but I understood once I pulled one out of the jar! You don’t have to warm them up, add seasoning, or pair them with anything; just open that jar and enjoy them as they come! They’re fully cooked and ready to eat.
I also tried Hanna’s Pickled Pigs Feet at room temperature and chilled, and based on my experience, normal room temperature was the way to go! Now, you may disagree, so if you do, please let me know the best way to eat pickled pig’s feet, and I’ll give it a try!
My Final Verdict
Overall, I enjoyed Hanna’s Pickled Pigs Feet; not only were they tasty, but they were surprisingly addicting! Unfortunately, most people will pass, as I’ve always done, but this is the one for those who aren’t scared and looking for a fulfilling high-protein meat snack!
Would I try them again? Sure, why not? However, I probably won’t because of my diet, but I no longer think they’re disgusting without trying them first, so there was an old lesson learned today: never judge until you try!
