We had already written about how to save money by buying gas station candy online, but we determined it was time for something new, as that article was published several years ago. This time, instead of explaining how you can save money, which you can read here, we decided to just lay it all out on the table and let you choose the best.

However, there are just way too many candy brands, products, and flavors out there, most of which we can find at every gas station in America, like Snickers, Kit Kat, Butterfinger, etc., so we won’t be focusing on candies like those; nevermind, we’d be here all night sorting through candy we already know about and can get at the gas station down the street.

Instead, we’ll create a more diverse list that features unique brands and products not found in every gas station, offering you a more selective choice of candies from around the country! We also published a list of the best gas station snacks; check it out here if interested. Regarding gas station candy, it’s something we know well here at Candy Retailer, as we do business with several gas stations in the US, especially here in our hometown of Cincinnati.

So, not only do we have the best gas station candies in the country, but we’re also where gas stations go to find rare candy brands and products to sell in their store! In other words, we have the best options at the best prices, as you’re soon about to see! We’ve been in the candy business for many decades, long before the internet, so we’ve built up a steady base of customers who own gas stations, but our doors are open to everyone, giving you the same great prices they enjoy!

1. World’s Candy Cigarettes

World’s iconic candy cigarettes are an all-American classic that most Gen Xers and some Millennials will surely remember! You used to be able to find these in almost every gas station back in the ‘80s, but not anymore, that’s for sure! Nowadays, most people don’t even know they’re still available! So, if you’re a fan, you’ll be glad to know that we still carry them here at Candy Retailer in two package options, including a 24ct box and a bulk-size 24ct master case!

2. Boyer Peanut Butter Cups

Made by Boyer Candy Company since 1936, these feature a smooth peanut butter filling inside a milk chocolate cup. Known for their flavor and quality, these peanut butter cups almost gave Reese’s a run for their money, but without a brand like Hershey’s backing them, they just didn’t get the attention they deserved. Nonetheless, they’re still one of America’s best gas station candies, especially on the East Coast. We carry them, and Mallow Cups, in 24ct boxes!

Only You Can Choose the Best Gas Station Candies

The truth is, only you can choose the best candy! Our goal was only to highlight some lesser-known, forgotten candy brands that once were displayed in almost every gas station in the country, but have since been overshadowed by all the bigger, named brands everyone knows and sees nowadays, which is why we decided to stay away from those brands and keep it traditional. If you can think of any other unforgettable candy brand that was once a big gas station hit, please share with us in the comments below; we’d love to know!
