First and foremost, it’s not easy to rank the best candy brand in the USA, even more so the top 25, which we must get right. The biggest challenge is navigating people’s different opinions, especially regarding candy! Nobody will likely agree with our rankings, not even us here at Candy Retailer or myself, the author of this list. Even if I list all my favorite candies, only I would agree with my list, so instead of ranking my favorites, I’ve decided to just stick to the facts!
So, to separate facts from opinions, I’ll use data collected from Candy Retailer between March 2024 and March 2025. As many of you may know, we have one of America’s largest, if not the biggest, candy selections! With nearly half a million units sold in the last 12 months, I think our data holds a lot of weight. On that note, we’ll base our rankings on the brands that put up the biggest numbers over the past year! That way, we can all agree on the facts!
In terms of opinions, there probably won’t be one person who agrees with this list entirely, and that’s because we all have different favorites. Therefore, we’d like these rankings to discover the most purchased candy brands in the USA. At the same time, we invite everyone to share their favorite candy brands in comments; this way, you can set the record straight and still make your opinions count. So, if that sounds sweet to you, then let’s get into this big bag of goodies!
