A Dorito Collaboration with Solid Back Initiative

Doritos has rolled out a new tantalizing flavor, Spicy Pineapple Jalapeño, as part of its partnership with the SOLID BLACK initiative. This initiative, highlighted in a July 24 press release, celebrates individuals making impactful contributions to their communities.

According to sources, the unique flavor was developed alongside Chef Chris Williams of the acclaimed Lucille’s restaurant in Houston. This limited-edition Dorito flavor offers a blend of spicy jalapeño, complemented by a refreshing pineapple twist.

Chef Williams, recognized for his impactful community outreach through his nonprofit organization, was chosen for this special collaboration. His nonprofit, inspired by a family legacy, has been pivotal in offering meals to those in need in Houston. To support Williams’ mission, Frito-Lay has announced a donation of $50,000 to aid in addressing food challenges in the community.

The packaging for this exclusive flavor is adorned with a distinctive design in vibrant green and black hues, symbolizing growth and prosperity. This artwork is credited to the art collective Mz. Icar. Consumers keen on trying out this flavor can find it in nationwide stores for a limited duration.
