Okay, so this is new for me! As some of you may know, I love candy bars and have published many articles about them here at Candy Retailer, which I’ll link below. However, I’ve never shared my opinions on them. I’ve always based my content on facts, data, and ratings, as opinions really don’t hold any weight when discussing the best foods, especially candy bars! Nonetheless, I love candy bars. I’ve been eating them for 40+ years, and still haven’t fallen off yet, so I think I have the stripes to write about my top ten favorites!
My top ten picks are solely mine; you may partially agree with me or completely disagree; either way, these are still my favorite candy bars of all time! My goal for writing this list is to inspire others to share their favorites with us! I know that 100% of people will, at some point, disagree with my list, but that’s the point… recognizing that we all have different opinions, but at the end of the day, it’s all good in the hood. So, to set the record straight, I invite you to share your top ten or just your #1 if you’d like in the comments below, and together, let’s let the world know who has the best candy bar(s) ever! I’ll set it off…
1. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
Hands down, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are the best. I know that not all of you will agree, and some of you may even try to argue that it’s not a candy bar, which just tickles my funny bone, so if you’re not feeling my #1, sound off below and set the record straight, according to you! As for all my fellow comrades who agree, represent in the comments and let all those who disbelieve know that Reese’s runs it and that there’s nothing they can do about it. Or, you can just keep your opinions to yourself, scoop up a box below, and keep pushin’ with your day! We love you, too!

2. Almond Joy
If there were no such thing as Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Almond Joy would be my favorite candy bar of all time! However, that’s simply not the case, so Almond Joy easily takes the #2 spot on my list of favorite candy bars! Again, as always, many of you’ll disagree, which is cool, so if that’s you, you know what to do. As for those who always feel like a nut, this one has to be in your top three! If not, then you have some explaining to do! I also like Mounds, but I always feel it’s missing something without the almonds! How about you? Almonds or without?

3. Milky Way Midnight
If this list were based on my top three favorite candy bars of all time, Milky Way Midnight would seal the deal for me! I absolutely love this candy bar, slightly more than the original milk chocolate Milky Way, which (spoiler alert) is coming up next. However, I’ll admit, the original Milky Way was my first love between the two, but once I tasted the dark chocolate version, it was over; Midnight took its spot. Now, it’s #3 on my list, where it’s been since it was called Milky Way Dark! So, who else agrees? If that’s you, let us know in the comments below, then scoop up a box here at Candy Retailer and let it be known!

4. Milky Way
As expected by now, the original milk chocolate Milky Way bar effortlessly bags the #4 spot on my master list of the best candy bars ever made! Before experiencing Milky Way Dark, this was most certainly the one, but I’m not sure if I had this one before Almond Joy, so there’s a chance that at one point in my life, it was #2, as Reese’s has always been #1 as far back as my mind can remember. Nonetheless, it’s still in my top five, exactly where it’s been since the first time I had a Milky Way, way back in the mid-’80s somewhere! How about you, though? Where do you rank this iconic candy bar?

5. Butterfinger
If I had written this list 20+ years ago, Butterfinger wouldn’t have made the cut. I never really disliked them; in fact, I’ve always liked them, but they were never in my top ten, much less my top five! However, the older I got, the more I liked them! Then, in 2018, Ferrera Candy Company took over operations after acquiring the brand from Nestle, and they changed the ingredients by removing all artificial flavors, which I think played some type of weird candy voodoo on my brain because, after that, I just fell in love with them! They taste as they always have, in my opinion anyway, but somehow, I just enjoy them much more now than I ever used to. Pretty strange, right?

6. Hershey’s Almond Bar
Okay, I think the cat is out of the bag now; I love almonds in my candy bars! As much as I love the traditional Hershey’s Chocolate Bar, this one just takes it up a few notches, landing it in the #6 spot on my list of favorite candy bars! Now, I expect most of you guys to disagree with me on this one; if it’s not the almonds, then it’s the brand; just so you know, I’ve heard it all. However, it is what it is; as the record stands, it’s #6 on my list. So, if you disagree, please let me know how in the comments below; I’d love to hear all about it. Does this one make your top ten, or nah?

7. Snickers Almond
If my list hasn’t ticked you off yet, then perhaps this one will trigger your little sweet tooth, especially if the traditional Snickers bar is your favorite! So, if that’s you, calm down there, Tito. I still love Snickers, too, and I promise I’ll prove it soon! However, once the brand threw in almonds, it just changed the whole experience for me, and I instantly fell in love with it, the same exact way Hershey’s got me when they added almonds to the Hershey bar! They got me again! So, if you’re like me and love Almond Snickers, then catch my back in the comments below because I’m sure to have some haters!

8. Snickers
See, I told yah that I still have big love for Snickers and that I was going to prove it soon! However, when Snickers added almonds, which was in the early 2000s if I’m mistaken, I instantly became a fan, knocking the traditional Snickers bar down to #8 on my list of best candy bars ever made, according to me! As for many of you reading this, you’re probably bugging out that I have this brand ranked #8 when it’s likely your all-time favorite! Then again, there will be some where it doesn’t even make there top ten; either way, it makes my mine! So, where does Snickers rank on your list?

9. Whatchamacallit
For as long as I’ve been alive, there’s always been the Whatchamacallit candy bar! It hasn’t always been the easiest to find, but since I’m now part of the Candy Retailer team, getting them is a breeze! Aside from availability, though, I just love these chocolate, peanut butter, and caramel candy bars by Hershey! However, I’m not a fan of its little brother, the Whozeewhatzit bar, which is chocolate, peanut butter creme, and puffed rice, which is were I swerved back to the Whatchamacallit. I’m not a fan of puffed rice, but this one features caramel instead, which I really like and why it’s in my top ten! What about you?

10. Cadbury Caramello
To conclude my list, I’d have to say that if it wasn’t for the Cadbury Caramello bar, then #10 would probably belong to Rolo, which I really like, but not as much as I enjoy Caramello! There’s just something special about how they taste and how that caramel hit when you bite into the chocolate, similar to Rolo, but slightly better tasting in my opinion! How about you, though, where does this one stand on your list? Does it make your top ten or not quite? We always carry them here at Candy Retailer, so if this is the one for you, click below and make them yours!
