Lemonhead
Introduced in 1962 by the Ferrara Candy Company, this candy features a distinctive combination of a sweet outer coating, a tart, soft shell, and a hard candy core. Inspired by the shape of the company founder’s grandson's head, the candy quickly gained popularity. Over the years, Lemonhead expanded its product line to include other notable flavors, including Cherryhead, Applehead, and Grapehead, alongside chewy and gummy versions. The brand uses a cold panning process to achieve its signature texture and taste. Lemonhead continues to be a significant product for Ferrara Candy Company, especially popular during Halloween.
