Sour Punch
The American Licorice Company was one of the pioneering candy producers to enter the sour candy market in the 1990s. Their first sour candy products were straws, bites, bits, ropes, and twists. Each of these products bears the name Sour Punch. The chewy, fruity candies have the texture of licorice with a sour sugar coating to deliver the "punch." The sour licorice products were originally available in Cherry, Strawberry, Orange, Apple, Watermelon, Blue Raspberry, Grape, and Lemon.
The brand's sour straws are thin, flexible licorice straws Crystal sugar flakes give the straws just enough sweetness. A dusting of sour powder gives them a sour punch. The sour straws have the perfect balance for those who like a little sourness that isn't overpowering. We have straws in Strawberry, Blue Raspberry, Grape, Rainbow, and Watermelon.
Sour twists are twisted straws that have a soft, flexible, chewy texture. They are available in Strawberry, Watermelon, Blue Raspberry, and Cherry. We have individually-wrapped twists in 180-count and 210-count tubs. Each tub includes assorted flavors.
